Great Posts

  • Becky offers encouragement to those, like me, who are not perfect parents.
  • Don takes readers on a tour of his journey from being a Reagan Republican to giving a closing prayer at the Democratic National Convention.
  • Rocki recollects a sad event that is still vivid after 26 years.
  • Not a review, but an analysis of Super Mario Galaxy can be read here. (Maybe not a great post if you've never played the game, however.)

I could debate for hours on the numberous bits of misinformation and the fallacies in Mr. Miller's post, but I don't think it is necessary or would be beneficial. That is why critical thinking and doing our own homework is always the best. We should ALWAYS check the facts. Anyway, I hope and pray that Mr. Miller is right about our future president. For our own safety and for the future moral values of this nation, we need Mr. Obama to be the man and the president that Mr. Miller describes him to be. Unfortunately, the decisions and appointments made by our future president are not showing that to be the case. Time will tell. One thing that we all can agree on is that we need to lift our president in prayer on a daily basis. So much depends on the leadership of this untested man. He will need God's wisdom and help.

Shelley,
Thanks for taking the time to read Don's post. It is interesting to hear various viewpoints. I too hope that Obama will be the type of leader Don envisions. Regardless of Don's thoughts on the next president, from a non-partisan standpoint, I thought the personal narrative of his political journey was interesting. I always wish I could write like him. Instead of iblogdoyou.com, maybe I should have called my blog iwishicouldwritelikedonaldmiller.com.
