On Facebook, people tag each other to do lists and stuff like the one below. I wrote this one for Facebook, but it took me a long time, so it might as well suffice for a blog post as well.
25 Random Things About Me
- I always wanted twin girls and I got them.
- I'm not very good at standing around in a circle of guys talking. (Although I was in high school.)
- I never had an MP3 player until last August and have now upgraded all the way to an iPod Touch, which I love; but more for everything else it does rather than the music it plays.
- I spend too much time writing for my blog, but I enjoy it.
- I love our driveway.
- I once won a Dance Dance Revolution contest at the Great Wolf Lodge.
- I estimate that I read about 30,000 words a day on average.
- Of those 30,000 words, about 300 of them are from the Bible. That's pretty lame.
- I like to ride my bike.
- I have a hard time finding shoes in stores that fit me.
- I spent about 2000 hours volunteering my time with the Nappanee Playground Project, but never could figure out how I could help with the tornado recovery.
- I'm pretty conservative in a liberal sort of way.
- I like to ride my bike.
- I weigh 20 pounds less than I did a year ago.
- I wish I would have closer friends.
- I spend some time alone with God almost everyday. A part of this time is usually spent listening for God's voice - for guidance. Last Sunday that voice told me to watch two football games.
- I wish I were better at listening for God's voice.
- I really, really love my wife and kids.
- I eat Frosted Mini Wheats and drink Dole Pineapple-Orange Juice for breakfast almost every morning.
- I like gadgets.
- I am a little obsessed with finding shoes I like (that fit me.)
- I like not having hair better than when I had hair.
- I've done aerobics (Sharon Mann) along with Kristi about five days a week this winter.
- I loved school (except for part of seventh grade when my friends were mean to me.)
- It took me way too long to write this list.
