hmmmm
Hannah Montana over the Proposal....
interesting...
we both loved the proposal and didnt want it to end....although it could be because we were just in Sitka Alaska in June.

I really, really enjoyed Up. It was so much better than the previews made it look. Also enjoyed Slumdog.
I would give The Proposal a 6. Good chick flick.
I also really love the movie "October Sky" - I might have to give it a 10. I love the perserverence shown by the kids in that movie. I love sports movies (like Hoosiers, Rudy) this was kind of a sports movie for science geeks!!
This summer, I also saw Harry Potter : give it an 8 and Transformers - 7 (liked it but not as much as the first)
I'm pretty disappointed in your rating for the proposal...I loved that movie. But, then again, I guess it was a chick-flick! Brooks probally would have given it a negative score :)
hancock should at least be a 7
Man, lots of Proposal fans reading this!
Brooks,
I liked the first half of Hancock quite a bit. Then, when the guys wife was also a super-hero, it got a little strange. When the thugs from prison were able to injure Hancock so severely, yet the freight train had no effect on him - it just didn't make much sense any more. I know there was the transferring power between Hancock and the girl, but that didn't make much sense either. That sort of spoiled it for me. Cool special effects, cool idea, the story just went downhill fast.
And hey, couldn't you at least have had my back on The Proposal? :)
